Modular wire shelving systems are often found in warehouses, restaurants and even in the basements of residential homes. These shelving systems are unique because of their chrome finish and ability to be mobile and move around. Quantum storage systems is one of the largest suppliers of these industrial wire shelving systems in the United States. They’re also a major supplier of plastic bins, totes and other material handling products. Combining these products together creates a one-of-a-kind storage system.
One of the major benefits of these wire shelving systems is their ability to move the shelf levels to custom heights. Designed with round posts and clamp style shelf clips, each shelf can be adjusted to the custom height desired. Because of this one-of-a-kind feature, these shelving systems appear frequently in warehouses.
Chrome wire shelving systems are also very versatile because of their ability to be used side-by-side, back-to-back, and by creating L-shaped Storage systems (fitting custom room sizes). Although mobile, these heavy duty industrial shelving systems can hold up to 800 pounds per shelf. Standard wire shelving units come with four posts and four shelves, as well as clips. Additional shelves and other custom items may be purchased, such as wheels that attach to the bottom of the shelving system.
Types of Shelving:
The standard kit is the Starter, which is a standalone rack system that comes with four posts, four shelves, and clips to secure the shelves.
The add-on units come with two posts and four shelves, along with 8 S-hooks to connect the two units.
Wire Shelving Installation
Installation is easy, utilizing posts, as well as our quantum split sleeve shelf clips. We offer two types of clips: plastic and aluminum. These clips come in two pieces, and clamp around the post, engaging the shelf when it is slide over it.
